Friends of the Library have a continuing book sale with different genres each month. Check out the shelves in the hall for sale books. There is something different each time. It’s a mystery what will appear on the shelves priced low.
Telephone Pioneers to meet
The Gibson County Life Member Club of the ATT Telephone Pioneers will meet Thursday, June 13, at 11:30 a.m. at Kappis restaurant on the Hwy. 45 By-Pass for a Dutch treat lunch. The 3rd Annual Miss Firecracker Pageant will be held Saturday, June 29, at Trenton Peabody High School Theater. Proceeds for the Find A Cure Award will be donated to Relay for Life. Pageant registration starts and 10 a.m. and pageant starts at 11 am. This is a pre-lim to the WTSF territorial pageant. For more information contact 731-618-6177 or email@example.com.

Janice Milligan will do a basket making program on June 20 at 2 p.m. at Humboldt Public Library. Everyone is welcome to see this ancient art being created.

The Humboldt Library, on June 13, at 1:30 p.m. will feature a program on electrical safety for all ages. On July 16, at 1 p.m. the program will be card making with Linda Mewbourn of Humboldt.
