What is the primary purpose of your business? To provide our community with quality swimming pools, chemicals, equipment, spas and service
What is your business background? Expertise in all aspects of pool and spa sales and service. Previously owner of Walt Hood Insurance and Express Tax Refund of Rome.
Why did you start in this particular business? Because of the community need to have a friendly and experienced retail store to purchase pools and spas, and to be informed about proper pool, spa and water care.
What makes your business unique? We provide families with fun and relaxation! We are family owned and offer friendly service. We are certified in water chemistry and are experts in the maintenance of pools and spas. We sell more above ground pools than anyone in Northwest Georgia and have become experts in all aspects of pool, spa, and water maintenance.
What do you enjoy most about your chosen profession? Helping people to relax and have fun. We also enjoy interacting with our customers.
What has been the biggest or most interesting challenge to overcome as a small business owner? Educating people on the value of using quality products to ensure safe water for their family and friends. We want them to understand that “clear water” does not necessarily mean “clean water”.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers? We have a simple way to show our customers how they can keep from getting algae in their pools, and if they already have it we have a step-by-step information sheet that guarantees that they will get rid of it. We want people to enjoy their pools and give them all the tools to be able to do that.
