Science Club thanks store for grant
SCIENCE CLUB SHOWS APPRECIATION - Members of the Humboldt High School Science Club gathered at the school entrance last week to show their appreciation to Wal-Mart of Humboldt for a $2,500 grant for science laboratory equipment. Wal-Mart manager Tim Poole was on hand (left of the sign) along with principal James Walker (far left) and (on the far right) chemistry teacher Dave Vaultenburg, Sandra Pipkin and biology and physical science teacher Rebecca Bowers. The Science Club has enjoyed using the lab equipment this school year, said Bowers.
